Who we are:

People on a journey. We are travelers, students, amateur and pro filmmakers, photographers, writers, bloggers, digital storytellers-people with a passion for mission, teamwork, adventure, revolutionary ideas and cultural exchange. We think meaningful and creative community acts on its values while inspiring others. Moving from awareness to action, our journey is EPIC - Experiential, Participatory, Image-rich and Collaborative. What we are:

Compathos Foundation is an organization which sources a social community leveraging resources to promote action, communication technology, grassroots media and journalism on behalf of worthy independent international projects. We believe that story combined with imagery stirs the emotions, brings creative ideas to life, initiates dialog between like-minded people, and fosters mutually empowering relationships in service of these projects.

Why we are:

The world is shrinking. We're all neighbors thanks to the ease of travel and the international lens of the Internet. More and more people are finding that they can combine their thirst for travel and their interest in cross-cultural exchange with their hunger to make a difference. Some of the most powerful stories, projects, organizations and businesses with a mission are the direct result of individuals who've made volunteer contributions to a work in progress, or their meaningful travel experiences that have stirred their consciences and motivated them to act.


If you have creative content highlighting your personal story, volunteer work, eco adventure, or a video highlighting a noteworthy organization you've initiated or worked with-we want to hear about it.
